I’m Stana (STAH-nah).
What I want you to know is that I have a deep interest in you—about whatever you find meaningful, or surprising, concerning, maddening, or miraculous. I want to hear your story, about how things are and came to be with you.
I was raised with a working class sensibility—a “roll your sleeves up and get to work” way of approaching the day. Challenges were met straight on, options considered, chosen and implemented. Each experience was a chance to learn, not a zero sum game.
That sensibility guided my studies and career choices. I hold graduate degrees in Education (Vanderbilt University) and Family Therapy (University of Massachusetts), because I’m drawn to all work that is fundamentally about dynamic growth and change.
Married with three grown children and two grandchildren, my life, like yours, is a color wheel of challenges, joys, losses, worries and inspirations. And I’m incredibly grateful for all of it.
